9/21/13 – Mustang Sally

It is with a heavy heart, but a hopeful spirit, I write today to inform you of my resignation from Mustang Sally.

For the past six years Mustang Sally has not only been my touring gig as a musician, but my “road family” as well. For those of you that know our rigorous tour schedule, you know how much time we spend together throughout each year and how hard we work. I have become very close to my band-mates, past and present, as well as many fans across the country and even around the world! I’ve travelled to places I never thought I’d go like Cuba!, Switzerland!, Guam!, Ohio!

I’ve shared some of the most difficult moments of my life with these girls and guys.I’ve shared some of the greatest moments with them, too. They have been my backbone when I couldn’t face the trials in front of me, and my cheerleaders in times of success. I am thankful to call them friends above all else. God has blessed me immeasurably by allowing my life to intersect with each and everyone of you. I am thankful for your support, friendship, and love.

I plan to continue playing (of course!) in and around the Nashville area, as well as in the studio. Traveling a little, but primarily focusing on my home life. Sookie will be very pleased. It is, no doubt, a scary prospect – looking out into the wide open future. But I know who is in control, and it is Him I seek.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not upon your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.”

4/28/13 – New Things You Should Know About

I’m writing this update while watching the waves roll in to Panama City Beach, FL from the Gulf! This is, without a doubt, the best office ever!

  • Thing 1) I have a shiny new blog that is all music, all the time. If you’re a gear junkie, music critic, or live music aficionado/a you should check it out!
  • Thing 2) I have a rubber ducky. His name is Roy. He also has a new blog with his travel companion, Leif! You can view pictures and thoughts from the lives of 2 rubber duckies on tour here —> It is every bit as hilarious as it sounds!

3/26/13 – The New Site

I’ve been working really hard for the past few weeks whipping this website into shape! Please feel free to send me some feedback and let me know what you think! I’ve tried my best to include all the relevant info … and some not so relevant. If you know me, I hope you see some of my personality in this. If you don’t know me, I hope this sheds some light into my world, and makes you want to hire me immediately! 😀 I’m no where near tech-savvy enough to build a website on my own, so I’m incredibly thankful WordPress is so easy to use, and has so many neat-o features!
